Kia, South Korea’s second-largest automaker, on Tuesday unveiled a redesigned and upgraded version of its EV6 electric car. The company first launched the car in 2021.
The new crossover SUV features a fresh design and a fourth-generation 84kWh battery pack. Customers will also get an advanced infotainment system that utilizes Hyundai Motor’s Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) technology.

The company has used a star map lighting design on the front and rear lights, Yonhap News Agency reported. It also gets new design bumpers. The company has also made several key changes to the interior. The EV6 facelift features a curved display and ambient lighting with dynamic graphics.
The new EV6 comes with a fourth-generation 84kWh battery pack, up from 77.4kWh earlier. The new EV6 can travel 494 kilometers on a single charge, while the previous model could go up to 475 kilometers on a single charge.
Kia said it has started receiving pre-orders and the car will be delivered to customers from next month.
