Nimbahera, March 5, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): A tragic incident occurred during a train journey when the wife of a Nimbahera-based Additional District Judge died inside the washroom of the Kacheguda–Bhagat Ki Kothi Express (17606). Doctors have indicated that the woman likely suffered a sudden silent heart attack.

According to available information, Additional District Judge Rajkumar Chauhan, posted in Nimbahera, and his wife Usha Chauhan were travelling from Sojat to Nimbahera on Wednesday. Both had reservations in different coaches and were travelling separately in the train.
Shortly before the train reached Nimbahera station, Usha Chauhan called her husband and informed him that she was going to the washroom. When the train arrived at Nimbahera station, Judge Rajkumar Chauhan got down and waited for her on the platform, but she did not come out of the coach for a long time, which raised concern.
The judge then informed the railway police. After tracing the mobile phone location, it was found that Usha Chauhan’s phone was still inside the train. Efforts were made to stop the train at Mandsaur as well, but the washroom door could not be opened there.
Later, the train was halted at Jawra station in Ratlam district, where the coach was searched. One washroom was found locked from inside. The Government Railway Police broke open the door with the help of tools and found Usha Chauhan unconscious inside.
She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead after examination. In the preliminary assessment, doctors suspected that she suffered a sudden silent heart attack and could not seek help in time. Later, the family took the body to Jodhpur without conducting a post-mortem.
