The Infinix Note 50x has officially joined the brand’s Note 50 series lineup, and after spending some hands-on time with the Sea Breeze Green variant, it’s clear that this budget-friendly device brings serious style and functionality for under ₹13,000. Let’s dive into our first impressions of this feature-packed smartphone.

Sleek Design with a Premium Touch
Infinix has nailed the aesthetics with the Sea Breeze Green vegan leather back, which not only looks premium but also resists fingerprints. The flat frame design offers a matte finish, giving it a sturdy in-hand feel. The Gem-Cut octagonal camera island is visually striking and incorporates Active Halo Lighting, a multi-function light strip that glows for calls, messages, charging, gaming, and AI assistant interactions.
The retail box includes a matching green protective case, 45W charger, Type-C cable, SIM ejector tool, and documentation—more than you’d expect at this price point.
Display and Multimedia
The Infinix Note 50x features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 672 nits brightness. It’s responsive, vibrant for its class, and works even with wet hands—perfect for real-world scenarios. There’s also an Always-On Display, albeit limited due to the LCD panel. The dual DTS-tuned stereo speakers provide solid sound output, ideal for casual gaming and streaming.
Camera Capabilities
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, a depth-equivalent AI lens, and an LED flash. It supports 4K video recording at 30fps—a rare find in this segment. Selfies are handled by an 8MP front camera with an adjustable-brightness flash, embedded in a punch-hole cutout. Initial results show decent daylight shots with good dynamic range.
Performance & Software
Powering the Note 50x is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate—a global first for this chipset—paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Android 15 with XOS 15, promising 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches. Gaming is a focus here, with support for 90FPS gameplay, AI-based tools like Folax voice assistant, AI Eraser, AI Cutout, and AIGC Portrait mode.
The UI has some bloatware out of the box, but most of it can be uninstalled.
Battery and Charging
A 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 10W reverse charging, and bypass charging support powers the device. Infinix claims a battery life of up to 6 years, thanks to 2,300 charge cycles. With moderate usage, this phone should easily last a day and more.
Durability and Extras
With an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification, the Note 50x is built to withstand tough environments. Additional highlights include Hi-Res Audio certification, 5G connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that’s quick and reliable.
