5G Infinix Note 40 series is scheduled to launch globally on March 18. The company has not yet confirmed the models introduced into the production line. Based on previous leaks, we expect the entry-level model Infinix Note 40, Note 40 Pro 4G, Note 40 Pro 5G and the top model Note 40 Pro+ 5G. Some of these phones have already been spotted on several certification sites that hint at some key specifications of the alleged phones. This time, the company confirmed the launch of Infinix Note 40 series in India.
In a press release, the company confirmed that the Infinix Note 40 5G series will launch in India soon. However, the company has not yet announced the launch schedule or even the name of the model that will be launched in the Indian market. The official teaser on YouTube shows the device with a shiny gold finish and what appears to be a rectangular rear camera unit. Here, the company is also teasing ‘AI Active Halo Lighting’ and claims that the series will be the first in India to offer this feature.
The company describes Active Halo as an AI-powered feature that integrates lighting effects with voice commands and other features. It can be used to check incoming calls, receive notifications, charge, play games, play music and interact with the “Hi Folax” voice assistant. The “Hi Folax” activation phrase allows users to customize their behavior using the “Active Halo” command.
The Active Halo feature has three adjustable lighting effects: Vivid, Rhythmic and Artificial Intelligence. Users can use them depending on their mood and preferences. You can customize it with vivid animations for special notifications, rhythmic indicators to play music, or different patterns to display incoming calls.
Although there is no further information about the Indian version of the Infinix Note 40 series, the global model is expected to come with a 3D curved AMOLED display. The company also confirmed “MagKit, the ultimate on-the-go magnetic solution” for all future Note 40 devices worldwide.
