Shimla, May 4: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in Dharamshala announced the results of the 12th-grade board examination for 2026 on Monday. Board President Dr. Rajesh Sharma revealed the results for Science, Commerce, and Arts streams during a press conference. This year, a remarkable 92.02% of students successfully passed the intermediate board examination.
Students can check their results and download their mark sheets by visiting the official website of the Himachal Board and clicking on the relevant link for their class. The results have also been made available on the DigiLocker app.
In this year’s examination, girls outperformed boys once again. A total of 81,417 students appeared for the intermediate examination, with 74,637 passing. Among the boys, 40,828 took the exam, and 36,888 passed, while 40,281 girls appeared, with 37,749 successfully passing.
Saila Kashyap topped the 12th-grade results with an impressive 99% score. Two students, Suchita Dhiman and Parshi Sharma, secured the second position with 98.6%, while three students—Tamanna Sharma, Nitin Kumar, and Vaishali Thakur—shared the third rank with 98.4%.
In the Science stream, Saila Kashyap achieved 495 out of 500 marks, securing the top position in the state. In the Commerce stream, Yashasvi Chauhan, Krishika, and Yan collectively topped with 491 marks each. Anshith Kumar led the Arts stream with 496 marks.
To check the 12th-grade results, students should first visit the official website of the board. After navigating to the homepage, they should click on the result link for their respective class. They need to enter their login credentials and submit them to view their results on the screen. After checking the results, it is advisable to download the mark sheet and print it for future reference. The 12th-grade examinations were conducted from March 3 to April 1 this year.
