Jaipur, April 23 (Udaipur Kiran): The Rajasthan High Court has ordered an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) investigation against Aarti Dogra, Chairperson of Discom, over alleged delays in deciding an inquiry.

The order was passed by the bench of Justice Ravi Chiranji while hearing a petition filed by Superintendent Engineer R K Meena.
The High Court observed that the Discom Chairperson had deliberately withheld a decision for several months regarding an inquiry against the petitioner. In such circumstances, the court noted that there appear to be sufficient grounds to suspect corruption in the matter.
The court directed the ACB to conduct a probe and submit its report within three months. It further remarked that the CMD appeared to have failed in performing her duties.
During the hearing, counsel for the petitioner, Ajatshatru Meena and Movil Jainwal, informed the court that the petitioner had filed a writ petition in December 2023 challenging the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for the year 2022–23.
They argued that the department conducted the DPC without maintaining the required roster, despite directions from the Supreme Court and relevant departmental circulars. As a result, the petitioner was allegedly denied promotion from Executive Engineer to Superintendent Engineer.
