What is a Caller Tune?
When you call someone, instead of hearing a ringing sound, the person on the other end will hear a beautiful song. If you also want your callers to hear a great song, set a caller tune. You only need an active internet connection for this.
How to set Caller Tune on Jio number?
The easiest way to set your favorite song as a caller tune is through the MyJio app. Users should first download the MyJio app from the App Store or Play Store. Once installed, users can open the MyJio app and go to the ‘Music’ tab, which will be next to the Mobile and Fiber tabs. Once selected, four new tabs will open at the bottom of the page – Home, JioTunes, Browse and My Library. After selecting JioTunes, you need to click on the Songs tab. You will see a search bar at the top of the screen. Search for your favorite track here. Click on the song. If you like the tune after listening to the preview, you can proceed with the process. Some songs are free for caller tunes, while others require payment. So, if you want to set a free caller tune, select a free song and click on the ‘Set JioTune’ option below.
Other Methods to Set Jio Caller Tune:
- SMS: Send an SMS with the first three words of the song/film/album of your choice to 56789 (toll-free). You will receive an SMS with a list of songs matching your input along with instructions on how to set the song of your choice as your JioTune. Alternatively, you can SMS “JT” to 56789 and follow the instructions.
- IVR: Dial 56789 from the Jio number on which you wish to set JioTune. Select the song of your choice from the Top Songs to set as your JioTune.
- JioSaavn App: Download the JioSaavn app and search for the song you want to set as your JioTune. Click on the ‘Set as JioTune’ button and follow the instructions.
Note:
- The caller tune service is free for all Jio users.
- You can change your caller tune as many times as you want.
- The caller tune will be active for 30 days. After that, you will need to renew it.
