Udaipur, February 25, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – The final voter lists for Panchayati Raj institutions in Udaipur district were published on Wednesday as per the directions of the State Election Commission under the voter list revision programme 2026.

A meeting of representatives of political parties was held under the guidance of District Election Officer and Collector Namit Mehta and chaired by Deputy District Election Officer (ADM Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore.
During the meeting, Rathore informed that the State Election Commission had announced the voter list revision programme 2026 with reference to the qualifying date of January 1, 2025. The draft voter lists were published on January 29, 2026, when the district had a total of 13,73,752 voters. After the draft publication, claims and objections were invited through Forms 1 to 3. Applications received between January 29 and February 16 were disposed of, following which the final voter lists were published on Wednesday.
With the final publication, Udaipur district now has a total of 13,83,178 voters across 20 Panchayat Samitis. This marks an increase of 9,426 voters.
According to official figures, the total electorate includes 7,05,667 male voters, 6,77,506 female voters, and 5 transgender voters.
Party representatives present at the meeting included Manish Sharma and Deepak Sharma from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mahendra Damor from the Indian National Congress, Sureshkumar Meghwal, Shivkumar Gautam and Jagdish Babaria from the Bahujan Samaj Party, and Amit Kharadi from the Bharatiya Adivasi Party.
Panchayat Samiti-wise Voter Numbers
Among the Panchayat Samitis, Badgaon has 77,125 voters, Bhinder 97,781, Devla 44,150, Ghassa 85,061, Girwa 65,144, Gogunda 89,369, and Jhadol 71,250 voters.
Similarly, Kalyanpur has 35,236 voters, Kherwara 84,148, Kotda 69,030, Kurabad 70,188, Mavli 94,512, Nai 46,997, Nayagaon 70,218, Ogna 41,851, Phalasia 72,835, Rishabhdeo 66,459, Sayra 78,483, Sulaev 37,059, and Vallabhnagar 86,282 voters.
The final publication completes the revision process for the 2026 programme in the district.
