
Udaipur : District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Poswal has appointed executive magistrates to maintain law and order during the Muharram processions.
According to the issued order, from 9 am on July 17 until the end of the Tajiya procession, Krishna Pal Singh Chauhan, ACEO of Smart City, and Parbat Singh, Tehsildar of Badgaon, will be in charge from Mukherjee Chowk to Ghantaghar and Ghadiya Devra. From 3 pm until the end of the procession, Assistant Collector Madhav Bhardwaj and Tehsildar of Devasthan Department Praveen Chaudhary will be in charge from Teej ka Chowk to Chowkhla Bazaar and Bhadbhuj Ghat.
Vinod Kumar, Deputy Director of Local Bodies, and Revtaram, Naib Tehsildar of Barapal, will be in charge from Bhadbhuj Ghat to Bada Bazaar and Ghantaghar area. Assistant Collector Ramesh Sirvi and Tehsildar of Girwa Suresh Mehta will oversee from Ghantaghar to Jagdish Chowk and Lal Ghat. District Supply Officer Gitesh Shree Malviya and Naib Tehsildar of Girwa Bhagyaram Joshi will be responsible for Bada Bazaar to Ghantaghar, then from Jagdish Chowk to Lal Ghat. Girwa SDM Riya Dabi and Tehsildar of Kurabad Bhapund Singh Rathod will handle from Dholi Bawdi to Teej Chowk to Lal Ghat, while Badgaon SDM Seema Tiwari and Naib Tehsildar of Badgaon Rameshchandra Rajpurohit will manage the Khanjipir area.
Additionally, all concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) have been instructed to ensure law and order in their respective areas.
In another order, Bindubala Rajawat, Land Acquisition Officer of Udaipur Development Authority, Ragini Damor, Additional Director of Harishchandra Mathur Public Training, and District Excise Officer Neelam Lakhara have also been appointed as Executive Magistrates.
