New Delhi, May 13: A positive update has emerged for students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for the Intermediate (Class 12) board exams on Wednesday. Students eagerly awaiting their results can now check their scores and download their scorecards from the official CBSE website, DigiLocker portal, and the Umang app.
According to the results released by CBSE, a total of 85.20% of students passed this year, with girls once again outperforming boys. The overall pass percentage for girls stood at 88.86%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 82.13%. Notably, 94,028 students achieved 90% or higher marks, and 17,113 students scored above 95%.
To check the CBSE Class 12 results, candidates should first visit the official CBSE website. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the link for ‘Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) Results 2026’. A new page will open where they must enter their roll number, school number, and admit card ID. The results will then be displayed on the screen. After checking the results, students are advised to download their mark sheets and keep a printed copy for future reference.
It is worth noting that the CBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted from February 17 to April 9 this year. For students requiring supplementary exams, these will be held on July 15, with the process for submitting the list of candidates (LOC) starting online from June 2.
