Chandigarh, May 13: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the results of the Class 12 board examinations, revealing a pass percentage of 91.46%. This marks a slight improvement of 0.46% compared to the previous academic year. A total of 2,65,417 students appeared for the exams, with 2,42,755 successfully passing.
Among the successful candidates, 1,25,695 were girls and 1,39,716 were boys. The girls achieved a remarkable pass percentage of 94.73%, while the boys recorded an 88.52% pass rate. Notably, three female students scored a perfect 500 out of 500 marks, with Sukdeep Kaur securing the top position, followed by Mumtaz Begum and Divyanshi.
Students can check their results on the official PSEB website. To access the results, candidates should visit the homepage, click on the link for the “Senior Secondary (10+2) provisional result March 2026,” enter their name and roll number, and view their results on the screen. It is advisable to download the mark sheet and keep a printed copy for future reference.
The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 17 to April 4 this year, with various streams participating. In the commerce stream, 34,496 students appeared, with 34,074 passing. In the humanities stream, 1,65,457 students took the exam, and 1,45,457 passed. The science stream had 56,456 students, with 55,593 passing, while the vocational stream saw 9,008 students, of which 7,909 passed.
