
Udaipur . The SIT team constituted by the District Collector to prevent illegal mining, transportation and storage in compliance with the orders of the Chief Secretary of the Rajasthan Government is continuously taking action.
Mine Engineer Pink Rao Singh said that in compliance with the instructions of District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal and Superintendent of Police Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav, under the direction of SME N.K. Bairwa, the SIT team on Tuesday carried out a major operation in Maddi of Maval Block’s mine and seized 1000 metric tonnes of felspar illegally stored and imposed a penalty of Rs 13.7 lakh against the concerned and issued a notice. Action will be taken as per the departmental order.
Mine Engineer Singh said that felspar is a very useful mineral. It is used in glass and tiles related industries. It is also sent to other states from here. Illegal mining and storage of it is against the rules.
