New Delhi, August 6: The Congress party has expanded its executive in Uttarakhand by forming various committees, including those for the manifesto, discipline, SIR, and charge sheet.
Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal announced the new executive on Thursday, which includes prominent leaders such as Ganesh Godiyal, Yashpal Arya, Harish Rawat, Pritam Singh, and many others.
Earlier, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) announced new appointments for the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee’s social media department, including a new president, vice-presidents, and coordinators.
In a press release issued by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, it was stated that the Congress president has approved these appointments with immediate effect. Himanshu Tiwrekar has been appointed as the president of the social media department, with Lincoln Gomes and Ajmal Syed as vice-presidents.
The list of coordinators includes Sohan Shenai, Maclin Fernandes, Pratibha Borkar, Glen Larseada, and Armando Ferreira Alvarez.
These appointments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and digital outreach in Goa. The social media department plays a crucial role in disseminating the party’s message, countering opposition statements, and engaging with voters, particularly the youth, through online platforms.
Congress leaders in Goa have welcomed the new team, expressing confidence that these appointments will enhance communication strategies and help connect more effectively with the state’s populace.
