Mumbai, September 22 (Udaipur Kiran News): Shares of Ceigall India Ltd were trading higher on the BSE after the company emerged as the lowest (L-1) bidder for a 220 MW capacity project in Madhya Pradesh. The stock was quoted at ₹279.35, up ₹3.00 or 1.09% from its previous close of ₹276.35.

The scrip opened at ₹282.05 and touched an intraday high of ₹284.15 and a low of ₹279.20. A total of 32,389 shares were traded during the session. On a weekly basis, the stock has traded between ₹285.35 and ₹272.85. Ceigall India’s market capitalisation currently stands at ₹4,875.99 crore.
The company has been declared the L-1 bidder in the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar auction for setting up a grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at Morena Solar Park, Madhya Pradesh. Ceigall India secured a 220 MW share of the total 440 MW capacity tender through tariff-based competitive bidding.
The company quoted a tariff of ₹2.70/kWh in the online reverse auction conducted on September 19, 2025. The expected project value is approximately ₹1,700 crore, with a construction timeline of 24 months and an operational period of 25 years.
