Lucknow, March 26 : Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Saturday administered oath to senior most Assembly member Ramapati Ram Shastri as protem speaker of the new state Assembly. The oath ceremony, held in the Raj Bhawan, was attended by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other ministers of his cabinet. Later the Governor also administered oath to Suresh Kumar Khanna, Mata Prasad Pandey, Fateh Bahadur and Jai Pratap Singh as the team to assist the protem speaker. The oath ceremony of the newly elected MLAs would be held inside the Assembly on March 28 and 29. The total strength of the UP assembly is 403. MB JNA
