
Udaipur : Passengers on an Ahmedabad-Delhi flight were forced to deboard at Udaipur’s Dabok Airport after the flight developed a technical snag. The passengers created a ruckus after waiting for three hours and being informed that no alternative flight could be arranged.
The flight, Air India’s 91696, arrived at Maharana Pratap Airport in Udaipur at around 1:30 pm. Passengers said that the passengers who were to board the flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi did not deboard, and when the flight did not take off even after the scheduled time, the passengers asked the reason and were told that there was a technical problem.
Later, when the agitated passengers created a ruckus, they were taken out of the flight and inside the airport. The passengers said that they had left home at 11 am and had reached the airport by 1:30 pm, but till now the airline company had not made any arrangements for them even for tea and snacks.
Later, an airline official arrived and the passengers surrounded him and created a ruckus. The passengers said that after this, water was arranged. At 4:30 pm, it was announced that everyone should go on their own as no alternative flight could be arranged. The passengers were asked to apply for a refund.
