Panaji : Trinamool Congress leader, social activist and actor Nafisa Ali has been admitted to the hospital.
Nafisa posted a picture of her lying on a hospital bed. She was admitted on Friday.
She captioned: “Guess what I have ! A lucky number 7 bed!!
“High fever and throat congested but doing better with my super medical team in Goa.
“Hope to be allowed home in a few days for self isolation……”
The actor has not confirmed whether she has contracted Covid 19 or not.
Fans have poured their best wishes for her speedy recovery.
The actor was diagnosed with stage 3 peritoneal and ovarian cancer in November 2018.
She opened up about the difficult time during her cancer journey last year by penning a heartfelt note.
Her last appearance on the silver screen was in “Saheb, Biwi and Gangster 3” in 2018.
She joined the Mamata Banerjee-led party in 2021 after leaving Congress.
