Mumbai, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran) – Actor Ranvir Shorey, known for his sharp wit and comic timing, is set to make a lively comeback to the big screen with his upcoming Punjabi romantic-family drama ‘Jassi Weds Jassi’. The film’s official trailer has been released, offering a glimpse of fun, chaos, and heartfelt entertainment.

Ranvir Shorey, who recently made headlines with his quip “If I had work, I wouldn’t be here” on Bigg Boss OTT 3, appears in a completely different avatar this time — as a charming, flirtatious lover. Sharing screen space with him are Sikandar Kher, son of veteran actor Anupam Kher, and Harshvardhan Singh Deo, both playing pivotal roles.
The trailer hints at a perfect blend of romance, comedy, and action, with Shorey’s playful character clashing with Sikandar’s intense, macho persona — setting the stage for a dramatic and humorous conflict.
The film is directed by Paran Bawa, who has previously been part of the direction teams of acclaimed films like Rang De Basanti and Angrezi Medium. With Jassi Weds Jassi, Bawa steps into full-fledged direction, presenting a modern romantic comedy infused with nostalgic pop-culture charm.
The film aims to deliver light-hearted Punjabi entertainment with a fresh twist for contemporary audiences. Backed by its humorous tone and relatable storyline, the trailer has already generated excitement among viewers.
‘Jassi Weds Jassi’ is set to hit theatres on November 7, 2025, promising to bring a dose of laughter, love, and family drama to Punjabi cinema.
