Three Schoolgirls Killed in Tragic School Bus Accident in Rajsamand

Udaipur, December 8: A devastating road accident in Rajsamand district’s Charbhuja area has claimed the lives of three young schoolgirls, leaving the community in shock and mourning. The incident occurred on Saturday morning when a school bus carrying students from Racheti School in Amet lost control and overturned in the Desuri Nala area.

The bus was ferrying students on a field trip to visit the Parshuram Mahadev Temple. According to reports, the driver lost control of the vehicle on a sharp turn, allegedly due to poor road conditions and overspeeding, leading to the tragic accident.

Victims and Injuries

The accident resulted in the on-the-spot deaths of three girls aged between 8 and 10 years. Additionally, seven to eight children sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. The condition of some injured students remains critical.

Immediate Response

Police teams from Charbhuja and Desuri stations arrived at the site promptly after receiving information about the accident. Local residents joined the rescue operation, pulling injured students out of the overturned bus. The authorities have since initiated an investigation into the incident.
