Sunrakshakk Industries Shares Rise as Guwahati FMCG Plant Starts Operations

Mumbai, January 9: (Udaipur Kiran) .Shares of Sunrakshakk Industries India Ltd gained on Thursday after the company announced the commencement of operations at its new FMCG manufacturing facility in Guwahati, Assam.

The stock was trading at ₹207.50 on the BSE, up ₹4.75 or 2.34 percent from its previous close of ₹202.75. It opened at ₹206.90 and moved between a high of ₹207.95 and a low of ₹206.90 during the session. A total of 705 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE Group ‘X’ stock, with a face value of ₹2, has a 52-week high of ₹288.75 recorded on June 16, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹133.26 on January 28, 2025. Over the past week, the scrip moved in a range of ₹202.25 to ₹209.90. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at ₹628.66 crore. Promoters hold 69.66 percent stake, while non-institutional investors hold 30.34 percent.

Sunrakshakk Industries India has successfully started operations at its Guwahati FMCG manufacturing unit, marking an important step in its expansion across FMCG and FMCG Intermediate segments. The facility has installed capacities of 2,160 metric tonnes per month for soap noodles and 1,000 metric tonnes per month for cosmetics.

The commissioning of the Guwahati plant strengthens the company’s manufacturing footprint alongside its existing facilities at Bhilwara and Roorkee. With operations now spread across these three locations, the company has built an integrated multi-location FMCG manufacturing network aimed at improving production planning, cost efficiency and operational synergies.

The expansion of manufacturing capacities across Guwahati, Bhilwara and Roorkee reflects progress in the company’s medium-term growth strategy. Supported by capacity addition, product diversification and wider geographic reach, Sunrakshakk Industries continues to work towards its stated target of achieving around ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY28.
