Tokyo, October 5 (Udaipur Kiran News): A powerful 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Honshu, Japan, on Saturday night, causing strong tremors across the region.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at a depth of around 50 kilometers below the surface. So far, there have been no reports of major damage or casualties, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
Japan lies in one of the world’s most active seismic zones, located along the Pacific “Ring of Fire”, where multiple tectonic plates meet. The country frequently experiences earthquakes, some of which have led to devastating tsunamis in the past.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation, but early reports suggest minimal impact from this latest tremor.
