Mumbai, May 19: Actress Sai Manjrekar, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, is gradually making her mark in the industry. Despite her father’s prominent name in the film world, Sai believes that discipline, dedication, and hard work will be the true assets for her success in the future.
Reflecting on her journey, she stated, “I have always wanted to step out of the comfort of my film background and create my own identity. For me, growth comes from continuous learning, proving myself through my work, and staying grounded amidst it all.”
Sai further emphasized that everyone’s journey comes with challenges, and instead of comparing ourselves to others, we should focus on our own growth.
From a young age, Sai has had a deep interest in dance. Before entering the acting world, she worked as an assistant director on her father’s film ‘Astitva’ (2018). She made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with the role of ‘Khushi Chautala’ in ‘Dabangg 3’, capturing the audience’s attention right from her first film.
Sai will soon be seen in the pan-India period drama film ‘India House’. The film is based on real events from the pre-independence era in 1905 London, showcasing themes of love and revolution, shot in both Hindi and Telugu.
In ‘India House’, Sai plays the character named ‘Sati’, with a traditional look. The film also stars Nikhil Siddharth in a lead role, alongside veteran actor Anupam Kher in a significant role. The film is being produced by superstar Ram Charan’s company.
