Rinku Singhs Sister Hopes for a Cricketing Feast Against Pakistan

New Delhi, February 15: A high-voltage T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan is set to take place this Sunday at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Across the country, prayers are being offered for India’s victory. Rinku Singh’s sister, Neha, expressed her hopes that her brother will deliver a spectacular performance, showering the field with boundaries and sixes, leading Team India to victory.

Neha Singh stated, “Our entire family is very excited about this match. We expect Team India to perform brilliantly. Rinku Bhaiya will also rain down fours and sixes. I want to wish the Indian team good luck for this match. Today is also Maha Shivratri.”

In Behala, West Bengal, a yajna was performed for India’s triumph. Despite concerns about adverse weather potentially affecting the match, fans remain optimistic that India will secure the win.

A cricket fan from Bharatpur, Rajasthan, commented, “Today is the India vs. Pakistan match. Cricket fans have been eagerly waiting for this big encounter. There are reports of bad weather, but we hope it clears up. India will win this match.”

Marathi actor Prabhakar More added, “Whenever these two teams face off, India has the upper hand. Indian players are strong in batting, bowling, and fielding, ensuring complete entertainment. Due to the Maha Shivratri holiday, fans will enjoy this match on big screens with family and friends.”

Having won their first two matches in the T20 World Cup 2026, Team India currently tops the Group A points table. Meanwhile, the Pakistani team has also won their initial two matches but sits in second place due to a lower net run rate.

Historically, the two nations have faced each other eight times in the T20 World Cup, with India winning seven encounters, while Pakistan secured their only victory in 2021.
