New Delhi, March 9, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Reliance Retail Limited has acquired Indian beauty and wellness brand ‘Pahadi Local’ along with its business operations. The brand was operated under Pahadi Goodness Private Limited and is known for products based on natural ingredients sourced from the Himalayan region.

The company said the acquisition will help strengthen Reliance Retail’s beauty and personal care portfolio and promote Indian brands associated with traditional knowledge, natural ingredients, and sustainable production.
Speaking on the occasion, Isha Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, said that “Pahadi Local” is a distinctive brand rooted in Himalayan wellness traditions and sourcing. She added that Reliance Retail is excited to scale the brand through its omni-channel network and retail platforms, while preserving its original identity and product quality.
Founded in 2018, Pahadi Local develops skincare and wellness products using natural ingredients sourced from Himalayan regions. The brand also works with women’s self-help groups in Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening local livelihoods.
One of the key ingredients used in the brand’s products is gutti oil (apricot kernel oil).
Following the acquisition, the founding team of Pahadi Local will continue to play an active role in the brand’s creative direction and product development. Reliance Retail plans to accelerate the brand’s expansion through its extensive retail network and digital platforms.
