Sony has announced the list of games that will be added to the PlayStation Plus catalog in June. Acclaimed RPG Monster Hunter Rise leads PS Plus this month, followed by sports simulation Football Manager 2024, grand strategy RPG Crusader Kings III, action-adventure title After Us, city-building RTS Anno 1800 and more. Titles in the game catalog will be available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members starting June 18th.
The catalog of added games, published on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday, follows the launch of monthly PS Plus games in June as part of Sony’s Days of Play promotion. This month’s free PS Plus titles include Streets of Rage 4, AEW Fight Forever and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake and are currently available to PS Plus subscribers of all levels.
PS Plus games catalog titles for June
Monster Hunter Rise first released on Nintendo Switch in 2021 and was ported to PlayStation and Xbox consoles in 2023. As with all Monster Hunter games, players can track and hunt the giant beasts using a variety of weapons, tools and gadgets.
Trap With the loot obtained from monster hunting, players can craft better weapons and armor. Monster Hunter Rise brings new tools and new monsters into the mix, adding more verticality to the game’s map. This game is released for PS4 and PS5.
Football Manager 2024, unlike the FIFA football video game series, is aimed at football fans who want to immerse themselves in the complex and demanding world of football management. A long-standing and popular series, FM gives players complete control of their clubs from top to bottom.
You will be responsible for scouting, transfers, player development, youth teams, etc. FM 2024 also allows players to transfer save files from previous games to continue their journey.
Crusader Kings III from Paradox Interactive will also be joining the game catalog this month. This epic strategy game was first released for PC in 2020 and is set in the Middle Ages. Players control kings and their successors to build a dynasty over the centuries.
During your game you can engage in war, diplomacy and deception. Religion plays a large role in the game and players can take part in holy wars and crusades. Crusader Kings III will be released for PS5.
This month’s games catalog is aimed at fans of strategy games, as Anno 1800 also joins PS Plus in June. The title of the real-time city building strategy is set in the 19th century during the Industrial Revolution.
The game focuses on trade and production and allows players to plan their cities. Anno 1800 can be played alone or online in PvP and co-op modes. It will also be available for PS5.
