AHMEDABAD, May 3 – Gujarat Titans’ pace spearhead Prasidh Krishna continues to impress in the IPL 2025, delivering yet another match-winning performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday. Krishna returned figures of 2 for 19 in 4 overs, pushing his season tally to 19 wickets, equalling his career-best mark from IPL 2022—but this time, in only 10 matches.

Speaking after the match, Krishna attributed his success to improved control over line and length, and a structured preparation strategy.
“I think my control over length has been really sharp this season. The team environment and support have been fantastic. And yes, I’m enjoying how the ball is coming out of my hand,” Krishna stated.
With an economy rate of 7.48, this IPL has been Krishna’s most efficient season yet. He revealed that his net sessions are tailored based on opposition analysis, and that he pays close attention to pitch behavior before matches.
“If you’re bowling second, it’s important to watch every ball of the first 20 overs. I also lean on the experience of senior players to refine my bowling plans,” he added.
Captain Gill Praises Depth in Gujarat’s Bowling Attack
Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill expressed confidence in the team’s bowling depth, highlighting that seven bowlers were used in the match against Hyderabad. Gill noted that each match sees a different player stepping up.
“Everyone is contributing—Sai, Prasidh, Rashid bhai, Siraj, Ishant bhai, and this match, even Coetzee. Having so many bowling options makes defending totals easier, especially on grounds like this,” Gill said.
