
Udaipur : A police officer in Udaipur, Rajasthan, has been suspended after a protest over the release of four men accused of molesting three schoolgirls.
The incident took place on February 13, when the girls were returning home from school. The accused, identified as Mohammad Javed, Ahmed Faraz, Shah Rukh, and Taufiq, allegedly stopped the girls’ scooter and molested them.
The girls were able to escape and file a complaint with the police. The accused were arrested, but were later released on bail by a court.
