Nigerian School Building Collapse Kills 22, Injures Over 100

Abuja, Nigeria: A large portion of the two-story building of St. Academy School collapsed, killing 22 students and injuring 132 others in Nigeria. The incident occurred at around 9:20 AM on Friday in Jos, the capital of Plateau state in north-central Nigeria.

According to reports by Nigerian newspapers Nigerian Tribune and The Nation, the school is located opposite Busa Buji Bridge. At the time of the tragedy, the students were taking their annual exams. The casualties include children under the age of 15. The injured children are being treated at Bingham Teaching Hospital.
