Udaipur, October 8 (Udaipur Kiran): Jhadol police station SHO Budhram Bishnoi died in a road accident in Jodhpur district late Wednesday night. The accident occurred around midnight in the Chamu police station area when the car in which Bishnoi was returning to Udaipur after appearing at the Jodhpur High Court collided with a tractor-trolley parked on the roadside.

The collision was so severe that the front portion and roof of the car were badly damaged. Budhram Bishnoi died on the spot in the accident. The driver constable travelling with him was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police Reached the Spot
After receiving information about the accident, Chamu police reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. The body of the deceased was kept in the mortuary of the government hospital in Chamu.
According to Chamu SHO Hanuman Bishnoi, the preliminary investigation indicates that the headlights of an oncoming vehicle may have caused glare, making it difficult for the driver to see the tractor-trolley parked on the roadside. The car subsequently went out of control and collided with the trolley.
Bishnoi Had Recently Joined Jhadol
Budhram Bishnoi was originally from the Chamu area. He had been transferred from Banswara to Jhadol police station in Udaipur district around two months ago.
Although his tenure at Jhadol was brief, news of his death has caused grief among the police department and people in the area.
