Ajmer, September 24 (Udaipur Kiran News): The newly appointed members of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Dr. Sushil Kumar Bissu and Dr. Ashok Kumar Kalwar, assumed charge on Wednesday morning. Both members met the Commission’s Chairman and other officials after taking charge. Their appointments are expected to accelerate the pace of recruitments and interviews conducted by the Commission.

The state government had made a major decision late Tuesday night, appointing three new members to the RPSC in the wake of challenges arising from paper leak cases. Former IPS officer Hemant Priyadarshi, Dr. Sushil Kumar Bissu, and Dr. Ashok Kumar Kalwar have joined as members. With these appointments, 7 out of 10 posts in the Commission are now filled, while 3 positions remain vacant.
Profile of New Members
Dr. Sushil Kumar Bissu:
Belonging to a humble farming family, Dr. Bissu is a noted academician and Mathematics professor with 33 years of teaching experience. He holds MSc and PhD degrees and has published over 35 research papers. Known for his simplicity and commitment to environmental conservation, he has been actively engaged in green initiatives.
Hemant Priyadarshi:
A 1992-batch IPS officer, Priyadarshi holds an M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and an MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies. He has served as Director General of Police, Cyber Crime, and ACB Forensic Science Lab. He has also held significant responsibilities with ITBP and CRPF.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Kalwar:
A senior consultant in Hemato-Oncology, Dr. Kalwar has worked with several leading hospitals in India. He has published more than 30 international and over 70 national research papers. Originally from Jodhpur, he brings deep expertise in the medical field to the Commission.
