Udaipur, April 4 (Udaipur Kiran): Rahda Foundation represented Mewar’s rich cultural heritage at the ‘Veena Mahotsav’ held in Barmer, marking a vibrant confluence of Rajasthan’s traditional art and music.

Organised under the aegis of Ruma Devi Foundation, the grand festival showcased a unique blend of Marwar and Mewar’s cultural and musical traditions, creating a devotional and energetic atmosphere. Rahda Foundation received a special invitation from the organisers to represent the Mewar region and participated enthusiastically.
The delegation, led by founder Archana Singh Charan along with other members, presented an impressive display of Mewari culture. Their participation was warmly welcomed and appreciated, further strengthening the cultural identity of the region.
Addressing the gathering, Archana Singh Charan said that the festival reflected the true spirit of Rajasthan, where culture, art, and devotion come together. She described Rajasthan as a land of immense cultural wealth, echoing the teachings and legacy of saints like Narsi Mehta, Meera, Raidas, Kabir, and Kumbhandas.
She added that the festival serves as a cultural bridge connecting Marwar and Mewar traditions, promoting harmony, cultural exchange, and unity. The participation of Rahda Foundation not only highlighted Mewar’s cultural richness but also reinforced the idea of unity in diversity by bringing different cultural streams of Rajasthan onto one platform.
