Jaipur, April 4 (Udaipur Kiran): In a daring rescue amid dangerous conditions, two Rajasthan Police personnel risked their lives to save a woman trapped under debris in the Brahmpuri area of the city on Friday evening.
The incident occurred during a sudden storm and heavy rain, which collapsed a tin-shed house, leaving a woman trapped beneath the rubble. The situation turned critical as broken live electric wires were scattered around the site, posing a severe threat. Locals present at the spot were unable to attempt a rescue due to the risk of electrocution.
On receiving information, Head Constable Bhagirath and driver Hansraj rushed to the scene and immediately began rescue efforts. Despite the presence of live wires and continuous risk, the two police personnel cleared the debris and managed to safely pull the woman out.
The injured woman was then rushed without delay to the Trauma Centre of SMS Hospital, where she is currently safe.
The incident highlights the courage and commitment of Rajasthan Police personnel, who stepped forward in a life-threatening situation and ensured the victim’s rescue, demonstrating their role beyond law enforcement in saving lives.
