MDS School Hosts Grand Investiture Ceremony, Encourages Student Leadership and Responsibility

Udaipur, July 22 – MDS Senior Secondary School, Sector 3, Udaipur, held its grand Investiture Ceremony, marking the formal oath-taking of the newly elected Student Council. The event was conducted with great dignity and enthusiasm, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership and a sense of responsibility among its students.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Sunil Bishnoi, ASI, Sukher Police Station, Udaipur, and Guest of Honour Professor Dr. Mukesh Chauhan, Principal of Government College, Salumber.

The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by an impressive march past by the student council. The investiture ceremony, a significant tradition in academic institutions, plays a vital role in shaping school culture and fostering a sense of belonging among students, teachers, and staff.

During the ceremony, students were formally conferred with symbolic items such as badges and sashes, assuming key roles including Prefects, House Captains, Sports Captain, Head Boy, and Head Girl. These symbols represent accountability and serve as a reminder of the duties entrusted to them — upholding the school’s values, discipline, and academic standards.

In his motivational address, Chief Guest Sunil Bishnoi urged the students to lead with courage, discipline, and integrity, while Dr. Mukesh Chauhan emphasized the importance of education in nation-building and highlighted the value of ethical leadership.

Dr. Shailendra Somani, Director of MDS School, congratulated the students and encouraged them to remain dedicated and disciplined in their responsibilities. He expressed confidence that the new leadership would help the school reach even greater heights.
