Udaipur: In a disturbing case, Savina Police have arrested an individual for allegedly threatening a woman with the release of her obscene photos and videos, leading her to take her own life.
Station House Officer (SHO) Ajay Singh Rao reported that the accused, identified as Shaktipal Singh, a resident of Akhepur in Salumber, was taken into custody following an investigation.
The complaint was filed on June 20 by the deceased woman’s husband, who stated that his wife had died by suicide on June 19. According to the complaint, the tragic incident was first discovered by their son, who was at home at the time.
The husband alleged that Shaktipal Singh had tried to coerce his wife into meeting him outside their home. When she refused, he threatened to circulate obscene photos and videos of her on social media. Before taking her life, the woman had reportedly confided in her son about these threats.
