Lt Gen Manjinder Singh Visits Tanot Brigade and Russel Vipers, Commends Operational Excellence

Jaipur, July 3, 2025: Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command, conducted an official visit to the Tanot Brigade and the elite Russel Vipers on Thursday. During the visit, he was briefed on a broad range of initiatives spanning operational preparedness, training advancements, and administrative innovations undertaken by the formation.

The Army Commander commended the high standards of professionalism, dedication, and operational readiness displayed by all personnel. He praised the formation’s unwavering pursuit of excellence and its vital role in strengthening regional security and operational effectiveness.

Of particular note were the brigade’s forward-looking initiatives, including the development of drone infrastructure, implementation of cutting-edge technology, and the establishment of an Integrated Health Centre. These efforts have significantly enhanced both combat capabilities and troop welfare.

During his interaction with the troops, Lt Gen Singh urged all ranks to remain ready in line with evolving modern warfare tactics. He stressed the importance of continuous training, self-development, and the use of war-gamed strategies, modern techniques and procedures, and adoption of niche technologies to remain future-ready.

Reiterating his confidence in the formation, Lt Gen Singh congratulated all personnel for their steadfast commitment and unity, which continue to drive the successful execution of command-level operations and strategic goals.
