Mumbai, October 3 (Udaipur Kiran News): Shares of John Cockerill India jumped over 7% on Thursday after the company announced that it has secured a significant contract from Godawari Power and Ispat for the engineering, design, manufacture, and supply of a 6-Hi Reversible Cold Rolling Mill (CRM).

The scope of the contract includes supervision of erection and commissioning along with ensuring full contractual performance guarantees. The project will support Godawari Power and Ispat’s 2 MTPA greenfield integrated steel plant, which will feature a state-of-the-art CRM with an annual capacity of 3,00,000 tonnes.
The advanced mill will be capable of processing strip widths up to 1,500 mm and producing output thicknesses from 2.0 mm down to 0.15 mm, operating at speeds up to 1,400 mpm. It will incorporate the latest rolling technologies and a modern mill management system to ensure superior strip quality and optimized operating costs.
At the BSE, John Cockerill India’s stock was trading at ₹6,499.00, up ₹462.00 or 7.65% from its previous close of ₹6,037.00. The stock touched an intraday high of ₹6,569.90 and low of ₹6,100.00, with 74,296 shares traded. The company’s market capitalization stands at ₹3,194.77 crore.
Promoters hold 75.00%, while institutions and non-institutional investors own 0.02% and 24.98%, respectively.
