
Udaipur : A team from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) arrived in Udaipur for the Rajasthan Forestry and Biodiversity Project (RFBP). The team reviewed the ongoing efforts for forest and wildlife conservation in the district.
The team members included Professor Rajshri Das Gupta from IIT Delhi, Japanese researcher Dr. Hashimoto, and Deputy Conservator of Forests (Jaipur) Kanhaiyalal Sharma. The team held detailed discussions on the incidents of panther attacks in Udaipur district and inspected the affected areas.
The team also visited the Botanical Garden at Kevda ki Naal and learned about the ongoing forest development work there.
