
Udaipur : A meeting of the District Health Committee was held under the direction of District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal. In the meeting, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Shankar Bamaniya instructed all medical officers and staff to remain alert in view of the outbreak of seasonal diseases.
Special focus on seasonal diseases:
In view of the possibility of the spread of seasonal diseases during the rainy season, the CMHO has directed all health centers to keep adequate stock of anti-snake venom and other essential medicines. He has asked medical staff to monitor diseases in their respective areas and report any problems to the department immediately.
Other important issues:
- Aadhaar Card: The CMHO reviewed the progress of Aadhaar card creation in the district and directed the backward blocks to work faster.
- Ayushman Bharat: Instructions were given to complete the e-KYC process under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and ensure the distribution of Ayushman cards.
- Sickle Cell Anemia: The progress of ongoing programs for the screening and prevention of sickle cell anemia was reviewed.
