The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 was announced alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris on July 10. Samsung’s official support page states that the issue may be due to using “incompatible third-party products” with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. Among these products, the company primarily blames “third-party fast chargers”. Not properly grounded.
The South Korean tech giant says power leaks from these chargers could negatively affect the phone’s anodizing process and result in slight discoloration. Anodizing is a process intended to give metal, in this case the metal casing of the phone, a “decorative, durable and corrosion-resistant finish.”

However, Samsung says on its site that a third-party charger that comes from a reputable company, is of high quality, and meets Qi standards is safe to use with any Samsung device. For best results, the company recommends users to use “genuine Samsung chargers” designed for “specific” Samsung devices.
