Udaipur, March 28, 2025 — To cater to the increased passenger demand during the summer vacation season, Indian Railways has decided to temporarily add a total of 7 additional coaches across four key train services originating from Udaipur. The move is aimed at providing smoother travel for passengers during the anticipated summer rush from April to early May.

Trains Receiving Additional Coaches
1. Chetak Express (Udaipur City–Delhi Sarai Rohilla)
Additional Coaches: 1 Second AC, 2 Third AC coaches
Delhi to Udaipur: April 1 to April 30
Udaipur to Delhi: April 2 to May 1
2. Udaipur–Jaipur Intercity Express
Additional Coaches: 2 Second Seating (Chair Car) coaches
Period: April 1 to April 30 (in both directions)
3. Udaipur City–Jaipur Holiday Special
Additional Coach: 1 General (Unreserved) coach
Jaipur to Udaipur: April 1 to April 30
Udaipur to Jaipur: April 2 to May 1
4. Udaipur City–Asarwa Passenger
Additional Coach: 1 General (Unreserved) coach
Udaipur to Asarwa: April 1 to April 30
Asarwa to Udaipur: April 2 to May 1
Route Change for Khajuraho Express: March 28–30
Additionally, Khajuraho Express departing from Udaipur will operate on a changed route for three days from March 28 to March 30, causing a delay of about one hour at key stations like Veerangana Laxmibai and Harpalpur.
On March 30, the train will run via Veerangana Laxmibai–Lalitpur on a revised path.
On March 31, the return journey from Khajuraho to Udaipur will also follow the alternate route.

Singhpur Dumra, Mahoba, Kulpahar, Harpalpur, Mau, Ranipur, and Niwari.
