Udaipur, May 5, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) — A large number of devotees gathered at Shri Ram Park in A-Block, Chitrakoot Nagar, to witness the third anniversary celebration of Shri Rameshwar Mahadev Temple and the consecration of a Hanuman idol.
According to Chitrakoot Nagar Welfare Society President Tejprakash Sharma, the celebrations began early in the morning and were organised with the active participation of local residents. All rituals were performed with proper traditions amid a devotional atmosphere.
The event commenced at 7:30 am with a grand Kalash Yatra. Women dressed in red attire participated in the procession, singing traditional songs and moving through the locality. Devotional music and bhajans added to the festive spirit, with participants seen dancing along the route. This was followed by a havan and the installation ritual of the Hanuman idol at 9:00 am in the presence of priests.
Later in the day, special abhishek and decoration of Lord Rameshwar Mahadev were carried out. A large number of devotees visited the temple for darshan. Arrangements for breakfast and prasad were made at the venue for attendees.
In the evening, the celebrations reached their peak. A new flag was hoisted atop the temple at 6:15 pm, followed by a grand aarti at 7:00 pm, drawing participation from residents across the locality.
Several members of the society and residents, including Rajesh Garg, Laxmi Narayan Paliwal, Manish Chaudhary, Arjun Singh Rao, Hari Singh Rao, Bharat Singh Rao, Bhawani Shankar Sharma, Niranjan Tailor, Himmat Mali, Suresh Jangid, Sunil Joshi, Ankit Dadhich, Pramod Mahawar, Suresh Chaudhary, Rajendra Singh Rathore, Kamlesh Sharma, Shravan Singh Rathore, Jeevan Singh Panwar, Rangu Singh Panwar, Tarachand Gawariya, Ashish Mishra, Raghunath Sharma, Rahul Udani, Ugamnath, Ganesh Gurnani, Bhupesh Sen, Lakh Singh, Vinod Sharma, Arjun Singh Chauhan, Rajesh Trivedi, Pandit Jugal Kishore Trivedi, Sunil Sharma, Brijraj Suwalka, and Parmendra Singh Rao, along with women, men, and children of the colony, took part in the event.
