New Delhi, July 4, 2025 – The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has opened admissions for its July 2025 session, inviting graduates from any academic discipline to apply for its postgraduate journalism and mass communication programmes. In a significant step toward democratizing media education, IGNOU has announced that no specific academic background is required, and there are no age restrictions, making the courses accessible to a wider pool of learners.
