Honor Magic 6 Series Design Teased in Official Renders; Colourways, Storage Options Confirmed

Honor Magic 6 series will be officially launched in China this week. The collection includes the regular Honor Magic 6 and the Honor Magic 6 Pro. Before announcing the exact launch date, Honor released several images showing the phone’s full design and color options. Both the Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro have been confirmed to come in five color options with up to 1TB of internal storage. These are confirmed to come with MagicOS 8.0 operating system.

Honor has announced the official release of the Honor Magic 6 series via its official Chinese website and Weibo. This image shows the Magic 6’s hole-punch design. In contrast, the Honor Magic 6 Pro appears to have a large hole-punch in the display, hinting at the possibility of a dual front camera setup. Both models appear to have narrow bezels and a circular camera module on the back. The camera island has three sensors and a dual LED flash. In addition, the volume rocker and the power button are located on the left back of the smartphone.

The Honor Magic 6 is listed with 256GB and 512GB storage options and the Magic 6 Pro is listed with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. Both models are available in Qi Lianxue (silver), Liuyunzi (purple), Haihuqing (green), Velvet Black and Wheat Green.

Honor will hold an event in China from January 10th to 11th to unveil the MagicOS 8 operating system. Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic 6 Pro will be officially announced during this event. These devices have been confirmed to ship with Android 14 and the new skin based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 chip.

The Honor Magic 6 series is said to feature a 160MP periscope zoom camera with an OV50K primary sensor with LOFIC (Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor) technology. The Honor Magic 6 is said to have a dust- and water-resistant IP68 structure.
