HMD Skyline is the latest smartphone from Finnish manufacturer HMD (Human Mobile Devices). The new product has a similar design to the Lumia 920 with a 6.55-inch screen and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The HMD Skyline is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and features a triple rear camera, led by one 108MP primary camera. Because it’s repairable, you can replace your screen instantly with iFixit’s self-repair kit. The HMD Skyline is powered by a 4,600mAh battery that supports wired and wireless charging.

The dual-SIM (Nano+eSIM) HMD Skyline is confirmed to run on Android 14 and will receive two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. The phone features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) POLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of up to 1000 nits. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This device is powered by the 2nd generation Snapdragon 7s chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The available storage space can be expanded up to 1 TB using a microSD card.
As for optics, the HMD Skyline features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary camera with OIS and AF, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel sensor. There is a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The HMD Skyline has a fingerprint sensor on the side and supports face unlock. Equipped with stereo speakers and two microphones. This phone also has the IP54 construction standard. The phone’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/A-GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BDS, USB Type-C port and NFC. It features a repairable design that HMD calls second-generation repairability, allowing users to easily replace the screen by removing screws and using the iFixit self-repair kit. In addition, a Detox mode that limits notifications and access to social networks will soon be available.
HMD has equipped the new Skyline with a 4600mAh battery with 33W charging. This battery supports 15W magnetic wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The Qi2 certified battery is said to provide up to 48 hours of battery life on a single charge.
