Hindustan Zinc Health Camps Benefit Over 1,100 Rural Residents Across Rajasthan and Uttarakhand

Free medical camps provide quality healthcare services, specialist consultations and diagnostic screenings

Udaipur: Hindustan Zinc Limited, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) healthcare initiative, successfully organized a series of medical camps in collaboration with Mamta HIMC across key operational regions including Agucha, Chanderiya, Zawar, Dariba and Pantnagar. The camps benefited more than 1,100 rural residents, including 561 women and 540 men, by providing access to quality healthcare services closer to their communities.

To ensure inclusivity and ease of access, door-to-door transportation facilities were arranged for beneficiaries, helping eliminate mobility barriers and enabling greater participation in the health camps.

The camps featured a team of experienced gynecologists, orthopedic specialists and general physicians who offered personalized consultations and medical guidance. Beneficiaries also received essential diagnostic services such as hemoglobin testing, blood pressure monitoring and random blood sugar screening. Free medicines were distributed on-site, ensuring immediate treatment support and continued healthcare assistance.

The initiative has emerged as an effective healthcare outreach model for rural and tribal communities by improving access to medical services, promoting health awareness and encouraging preventive care. By addressing healthcare challenges at the grassroots level, Hindustan Zinc and Mamta HIMC are contributing to stronger, healthier and more empowered communities.
