HDFC reports 25% rise in Q2 net profit

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported 24.71% rise in its net profit at Rs 2467.08 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1,978.19 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.97% at Rs 11,256.96 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 9007.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
