Panaji, March 11 : Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said that the state assembly will be dissolved on Monday. Speaking to reporters at the legislative assembly complex at Porvorim, near the city, he said a resolution to this effect was passed in the state cabinet today. The resolution would be sent to the Governor and meeting of fresh legislative assembly would be held thereafter, he said. The cabinet also expressed gratitude to the people for reposing their faith in the government, he said. Bharatiya Janata Party has won 20 seats in the state assembly elections results of which were announced on Thursday. Three independent MLAs and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) have extended support to the ruling party. AKM GNK
