Jaipur, 15 December (Udaipur Kiran) – Rajasthan is experiencing fluctuating temperatures with a notable drop in nighttime readings across the state. Twenty-three cities recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Fatehpur experienced the coldest night at 5.3 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate fog is expected in some areas of the eastern and western parts of the state. Jaipur also saw a slight decrease in temperature, with a maximum of 26.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 11.7 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, other minimum temperatures recorded include Nagaur at 5.9, Lunakaransar at 6, Dausa at 6.5, Sikar and Vanasthali at 7, Mount Abu at 7.2, Baran at 7.8, Alwar at 8, Karauli and Sirohi at 8.1, Churu at 8.6, Jhunjhunu at 9, Sikar at 9.1, Sri Ganganagar at 9.3, Dabok at 9.4, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, and Jaisalmer at 9.5, Bhilwara and Bikaner at 9.6, and Pali at 9.9 degrees Celsius.
Barmer remained the warmest in the state with a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.6 degrees Celsius.
Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, stated that minimum temperatures are expected to remain normal over most parts of the state in the next one to two days. He also confirmed the likelihood of light to moderate fog in some eastern and western areas during this period.
