Turkey, March 19 : Indian fencer Olympian Bhavani Devi has made top-25 finish in the Fencing World Cup on Saturday. She finished 23rd among 166 fencers from the world here. Bhavani, who was the lone Indian competing, lost 9-15 to France’s Caroline Queroli in the women’s individual sabre round-32. She was undefeated in the group stage having won all six matches to advance to round-64. In the round-64, the Indian defeated Chinese fencer Lin Kesi 15-8 but fell short in the round-32. BAV RNJ
