Youth Were Returning from Sirsa After Picking Up a Friend Released from Jail
Fatehabad, March 11 – A tragic accident occurred late Monday night near Bhuna town in Fatehabad district, where an out-of-control Scorpio SUV collided with a divider and overturned. The impact was so severe that the vehicle was thrown nearly 50 feet away, resulting in the death of three young men, while three others sustained serious injuries. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Hisar, and police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
Accident Details and Victims Identified
According to reports, 27-year-old Vikram, a resident of Dangra village in Tohana, was released on bail from Sirsa Jail on Monday. To pick him up, five of his friends traveled to Sirsa in a Scorpio SUV. The group was returning to Tohana late at night, with Vikram himself driving the vehicle.
At around 1:30 AM, when they reached Lord Krishna School on Fatehabad Road in Bhuna, the Scorpio lost control, rammed into a divider, and overturned after being thrown 50 feet away.
Casualties and Injuries
The accident proved to be fatal on the spot for:
- Naresh (34), resident of Dangra village
- Krishna (27), resident of Amani village
The seriously injured victims were:
- Vikram (27), resident of Dangra
- Ishwar (28), resident of Jamalpur
- Kala (35), son of Amani
- Sukhvinder (28), resident of Chandar Kalan village
All four were rushed to Bhuna Government Hospital, but due to their critical condition, they were referred to Hisar. Tragically, Sukhvinder succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.

Following the accident, police officials have sent the bodies for post-mortem and initiated a detailed investigation into the exact cause of the crash. Authorities are examining factors such as vehicle speed, driver fatigue, and road conditions to determine what led to the loss of control.
